Gather with us in your grief and loss at our Longest Night service, a time of prayer, music, and reflection for those who are suffering this Christmas season.

Many faith communities gather for a special night of worship
on “Winter Solstice”, sometimes understood as the longest night of the year.
This gathering makes space for those who are struggling in this holiday season
with grief, loneliness, confusion, and anxiety. Not everyone experiences these
weeks at the end of the year as “cheery and bright”. Some are hurting and
wounded. Some have seen relationships disintegrate. Others have lost a job.
Many face the prospects of a New Year with many unanswered questions. We make
space on this evening for those emotions and pain, trusting that God, who comes
when we least expect it and is present, is with us.
