Dear church, friends, and neighbors,
In partnership with First Christian Church of Burbank, Church of the Foothills will collect cleaning supplies to support Los Angeles area residents returning to their homes in the coming weeks. LAist just did a story on the ash, debris, and dust many residents are dealing with. We can help.
We will collect any amount of the following:
- N95 masks
- Work gloves
- Dish washing gloves (heavy duty)
- Liquid concentrate household cleaner (not spray bottles)
- Liquid dish soap
- Cleaning towels (not paper towels)
- Sponges
- Scouring pads (without soap)
- Trash bags
- Scrub bushes
- Five gallon buckets
You may already have extras of these items in your home that you are not using.
Our collection area outside will be set up outside of our sanctuary, located at 19211 Dodge Ave, Santa Ana, CA, beginning on Sunday, January 19 from 9 AM – 12 PM. We will accept donations every Sunday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 12 PM.
A team from the church will take our first load of supplies to Burbank early next week.
Thank you for your generosity and prayers for so many in need. Monetary donations are still being accepted through partners like Week of Compassion.
