Meet Our Staff
Rev. Nathan Hill is honored to serve a faith community passionate for justice and an inclusive welcome a God’s table. Originally from Oklahoma, he comes to Foothills after serving congregations in Texas and Maryland. He is also a core trainer with Reconciliation Ministry.
Rev. Hill completed his M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary and Spiritual Direction training from HeartPaths in Dallas. He is completing his Doctor of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary.
Cristina Flores joined the ministry team as Office Manager in September of 2022 and started her new role as Director of Christian Education in November of 2024. She assists our congregation and community administratively and now helps spearhead our growing children ministry efforts. You can find her in the office on Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings or you can reach her by phone at 714-544-1319 on Tuesday and Thursday.
Marci Carey is our incredible Foothills Preschool Director. She loves the children and is praised by parents and teachers alike for her dedication and skill. She worked for several years as a teacher at FPS before she became our director in 2016.
Director Sammy Salvador is no stranger to our community as an educator, vocalist, and conductor. He spent time substituting for our previous director in the past. He values our commitment to inclusivity and progressive theology. In his full-time work, he teaches middle school kids how to sing!
